Remember, remember the 5th of November. Not difficult really as it's Rob our MD's Birthday and he's pretty demanding on the cake front. But now we have a new reason to celebrate fireworks day and that's because we were delighted to receive 2 shiny trophies at the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs for short)!
The first award was for best newcomer in online recruitment. The second was really special as it was for the best employment advice website in the UK. Given our number 1 mission in life is to provide a destination for job seekers to get the best possible careers advice, we're really proud CareerPlayer was recognised for this one.
Stephen O'Donnell, the awards organiser, congratulated us with the rather overwhelming news that no newcomer had managed to win 2 awards before so our mum's should be especially proud. And we can safely say they've been boring the bridge circuit with the news for the last week!
Huge thanks to the judges and everyone who voted for CareerPlayer. What makes the NORAs so special is that they aim to "identify and acclaim the recruitment websites that work best for candidates themselves" by recognising "sites that, through either innovation, inspiration, or sheer hard work and attention to detail, actually offer something tangibly valuable to job seekers."
