NHS Management Trainee - William Monaghan
NHS managers can often be in a bit of a tricky position as they’re tasked with balancing the business and the clinical requirements of a massive organisation. However, if you’re up for the challenge, the graduate trainees we spoke to showed massive enthusiasm for their roles. The NHS graduate scheme also offers trainees the option of studying for a postgraduate qualification in an area relevant to their specialism, so it’s definitely worth considering if you want to combine real-world work experience with paid-for study.
Will, who was offered places on three graduate schemes, tells us why he chose the NHS Graduate Management Scheme, what his work involves on a daily basis, and why he gets satisfaction from helping deliver healthcare to the public.
