    • Xchanging is a business process and technology services provider and integrator. Listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE:XCH), we have over 7,500 employees in ten countries, providing services to customers in 48 countries.

      We specialise in Insurance, Financial Services, Technology and Procurement, with processing skills and capabilities applicable to other vertical industry and market sectors.

      What does this mean? It means we perform business functions on behalf of our customers. For instance, rather than a company employing a large procurement function, they can chose to outsource that function to us. This can be done for any non-core business processes, other examples being: accounting, IT, HR.

      We create partnerships between the individual, their line manager and our dedicated Corporate Learning and Development Department. We create an effective balance between formal (classroom) and informal (workplace) learning with technology-enabled access to make sure that learning is available whenever and wherever it is required.

      Everyone has a learning plan. It aligns their own development with the needs of their part of the business, laying the foundations for mutual success.

      We also make full use of the best business schools and specialist external providers.

      When new needs come up and we don’t have anything to meet them, we look at it as an opportunity to supplement our curriculum and bolster our resources.

    • The Selection Process

    • We choose successful candidates for the Xchanging Graduate Scheme using a three stage process:

      Stage 1: Application
      You must apply through this website, using the link provided on the graduate home page. The application features some initial questions and a requirement to list your qualifications. We will also screen your application for spelling and grammatical accuracy.

      Stage 2: Selection
      Once stage 1 screening is finished, we select candidates for assessment using SHL tests. These tests are sent to you as web links to be carried out online. They measure your verbal and numerical reasoning ability. They are assessed against the graduate norm we expect.

      Stage 3: Assessment
      Based on the results of the SHL tests, we create a shortlist of candidates to attend one of our assessment centres. The format is a mixture of group work, individual interviews and presentations.

      From these assessment centres, we make offers to the strongest candidates.
