Serco are looking for a highly ambitious graduate looking to develop a finance career in industry. The successful applicant will work for the FTSE 100 company on an outsourced public sector contract learning the finance discipline and supporting project delivery.

Responsibilities include:
Develop understanding of the entire Finance function and its responsibilities to be able to undertake:
> Serco Month end processes to reporting timetable.
> Monthly reporting to customer and internal stakeholders, inc:
> Quarterly Budgeting for both Serco and Customers
> Advise on Serco and contract governance procedures
> Provide assistance and challenge colleagues to improve the standard of financial reporting across the business.
> Continuous improvement of financial processes
> Financial Modelling of new projects and opportunities
> Assist Project Managers to set up and track project budgets
> Support and guidance providing Project Managers with advice and help around the project processes, standards, reporting, finances, documentation and controls including risks and issues, planning, change control
> Performance reports recording and compile information to report on performance against contractual KPIs and SLRs
> Process Enhancements assisting with the development and improvement of processes, their implementation and any relevant communication and training
