Rolls-Royce Graduate Schemes

As a Rolls-Royce graduate, you can join one of two Programmes, according to the direction you want your career to take. The Professional Excellence Programme is designed to give you a hands-on, immersive experience in the specific field of your choice, developing the professional skills to take you towards becoming a future expert. Or if your heart lies in business leadership, the Leadership Development Programme will channel your learning in a broader business context, tackling the operational and managerial dimensions of your chosen field. With a broad range of disciplines to choose from within each Programme, and built-in coaching and mentoring, both of our graduate Programmes put you on a clear path to success.

Leadership Development Programme
This Programme is about finding and developing people who will become the future leaders of our business. If you’re passionate about getting the best out of the teams and the resources around you then this could be the path for you.

It is available in:
> Engineering

> Finance

> HR
> Manufacturing Leadership
> Purchasing
> Supply Chain Planning and Control

Once you’ve chosen your discipline you’ll be exposed to a range of challenging situations, spanning different aspects of the business.

Every Programme consists of two distinct parts. Part one typically lasts 18 months and is made up of a series of six-month placements, at least one of which will be overseas. Your performance and progress will determine how quickly you reach your leadership role – which could be as early as your fourth year. Once you’ve proved yourself as a possible future leader, part two kicks in – consisting of two 18 to 24 month posts giving you the opportunity to build on what you’ve learnt with more responsibility and autonomy.

Although the assignments you work on will be live and your performance accountable and mission-critical, you’ll still have full support and back-up from the graduate programme to help you sharpen your strengths and progress your career.

The Leadership Development Programme is available in the UK, US, Norway and Asia.
