Magnox is both a pioneer and a contemporary leader in nuclear generation and clean up in the UK. Today Magnox is responsible for ten reactor sites around the UK. These include two generating nuclear power stations which make a significant contribution to the provision of nuclear energy for the UK. In addition, these world-renowned companies are tasked to defuel, decommission, and safely handle the nuclear legacy for a further eight sites owned by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in England, Scotland and Wales.
